having issues with my old 2950. the am and cw recive but no lsb or usb.and if it gets turned off for a while it will work of about 10-20min. and sometimes it works awesome. just dont know what to think. any help will be grate. thanks and 73's. also its not like that one yuck. its never been serviced just the battery replaced.

sorry its old but the addition cable is due to the trace to the pa being underated

@cocoloco1105 Well, I ordered up new transistors for it and when I put in the new ones it was working fine for about 5 minutes when one of the final transistors blew up. Literally exploded and split in half. I've had this happen in two RCI 2950s so I was wondering if it could be defective transistors from my supplier. I emailed him about it and he was kind enough to send me a free transistor to replace this one. I still have to put it in and see what happens this time.

i think i might have found your problem, the rci-2950 is suppose to have only ONE 2sc2166 driver and TWO 2sc2312 finals....
there is only one 2sc2166 for the driver, and two 2sc2312 for the finals.

@radionut63 It had the 2166 as the driver and two 1969s for the finals. Don't know where the 2312's went but it seems these are their equivalents. Either way these ones looked like cheapies and since I'm ordering a new batch I'm going to put 2312s back in there.
