Horray for heat stroke! not really, though. I had it pretty good the other day, too. I actually forgot how old I am. ^_^
Mmm...love the brainfreezes, too. Well, good training is good training with or without good taikai results. I haven't been to one in years, so I've about forgotten what that pressure is like. At least you gave it what you could!
Ah. Shoulda known. Mean looking things, they are.

Haha...I was so heat stroked from 4 prior days of gasshuku that on the day of the taikai I had a brain freeze 12 movements into kata. Rather than continue screwing up and wasting the judges time, I bowed out. I was there for gasshuku primarily...next time though. I'll rack it up to experience as my first taikai, after all these years. At 4:19, that's an old guan dao from China.
