Here is what I look for when photographing Real Estate. Here are the images that I captured. I wanted to also say I dont like HDR for houses, it just gives it a fake strange look. If you want to expose for the outside and inside that you are going to have to bring in lights and balance them. Follow this link to see the images from this shoot. http://bit.ly/c6kZcF

  • how much do you usually charge for taking real estate photography?

  • @lastcomicleft could be anywhere from a couple hundred to 1k depending on size and if I will be doing video and editing or not.

  • That house is only 729k?

California living is so expensive... That house would probably be 2-3 mil over here

  • Hi Jared-Just saw your video-Couldn't agree more that GREAT photos of a home is a game changer!

  • Hi jared and thanks for your informative videos. (i´m watching from germany). Really good thought about "thinking about the client" - and not only trying to think about oneself making a great photo.

    take care,

    Heiko

  • @JaredPolin I'm glad you don't. Nothing is worse than looking at photos of a house where the photographer went nuts with HDR, and the photos look like I'm watching cartoons. I want to see a well exposed series of photos when looking at real property- not a photographer's artistic crap. Just great well exposed, rich colorful photographs without the fakey HDR stuff. Nice vid clips. Keep rock'n!
