LA Clipper Baron Davis Partners With Lexus To Do Good For His Rising Stars of America Foundation (RSOA) During All Star Week
Baron Davis Challenges His Celebrity Friends To A Race with Lexus' CT200h On A Charted Course in Downtown Los Angeles

(Los Angeles, CA) LA Clipper Baron Davis teams up with auto brand Lexus for a great cause-to raise monies for Baron's foundation, The Rising Stars of America. On February 17th, Baron will host The CT200h Challenge during NBA All Star week. The Challenge will consist of a competitive race between CT200h automobiles driven by Baron and his celebrity friends.

At present, Baron is challenging fellow celebrities via Twitter to race at a pop-up Lexus CT200h obstacle
course in Downtown Los Angeles. Celebrities from TV, Film and Sports will race one another in CTs to achieve the fastest time. The winner from this race will receive either a car lease (for a specified time) or will be able to donate the lease of the car to a charity of their choice.

The benefit for RSOA foundation will be the result of $1,000 awarded to Baron for each celebrity he secures to participate in the aforementioned competition. RSOA is a non-profit, founded in 2004, whose mission is to utilize athletics as a means of teaching ethical and social values as well as life skills through mentorship and positive role modeling to today's youth.



Invited celebrities include: Jessica Alba, Regina King, Rosario Dawson, Laker Matt Barnes, Cameron Diaz, Hill Harper, Kim Kardashian, drummer Travis Barker, Clipper sensation Blake Griffin, and Taraji P. Henson.



This event, which commences on Thursday, February 17th, at 4pm, is open to the public. Additionally, Baron will extend an invitation to the public via social media. He will pose a question, and for the first 10 people who respond, they will be invited to not only attend event, but also have access to the participating celebrities to interview them (via flip cameras) to convey their experience of driving the CT200h. The course will pop up in a downtown parking lot located at 1220 Figueroa Street.


This stellar event will have live music provided by DJ Kiss, and an assortment of food trucks including The Komodo and Sweets trucks, which will be on hand to further enhance the experience of The CT200h Challenge.
