How to Paint a Shiny Creature in Spore

Use the scale texture on the first page of the Base textures to make the detail parts shine. Next, I like to use one of the three shiny Coat textures on page 2, or the furry Coat on page 3. Finally, I will use that rubbery-looking Detail texture on page 1 to hide the scales. I will almost always use a dark, a medium, and a light color. I will always try to avoid using clashing colors, such as yellow and purple, or orange and green.

If you follow the directions in the description, carefully, it should work. If it still does not work, it just may be that your graphics card does not support those kinda of graphics. You must have a graphics card which can support that type of graphical enhancement.

speaking of shine, my textures are wierd, they cant shine (probably grafic card) and the fur texture turns black! The Grox are black too! its VERY annoying.
