Walking Jasper the Ferret

NOTE: The collar is NOT on 24/7.

This is Jasper! He's my girlfriend's ferret and as you can see, he loves to go out for walks. Every now and then we take him outside so he can enjoy the fresh air, run around and... dig. Yup, ferrets are diggers!

No music was used this time. All the rights to the music used in my other ferret videos belong to Kyle Gabler.

My goodness you are so lucky that he keeps the jacket on! How did you do it? Especially with it underneath the harness it looks like?

@EvaYanagita I guess Jasper just doesn't mind having it on. He doesn't try and wiggle his way out. We only let him wear that for a short period time, though. As you see in the video, my girlfriend took it off because it got really dirty. I don't think we're using it anymore.

I love this video!! What a beautiful portrait. I bet your girlfriend loves this video so much! I love the squirrel looking on, especially. LOL! He/she is going to go home to the tree and tell all the squirrel friends they saw the CRAZIEST THING! I have a lone-ferret, too -- for the rare ferret, that's the best. Kinda worried about the collar-on-24/7 thing...just wanted to point that out because ferret accidents are very tragic, and I'm lucky to not have had a fatal one in 6 years of n00bdom.

@tikifeet Jasper's collar is actually not on 24/7. I've added this note in the video description now in case other people think the same. Yeah, Jasper used to have a ferret partner but she was teaching him bad things and she was hard to train so we figured she wasn't the best for him. He's a lone ferret now but he's the happiest little thing in the world!

I love this video! I'm wanting to get two ferrets when I move into my new apartment this summer. I'm a college student so I figure they can entertain eachother when I'm in class, and when I'm home they can have fun browsing my two story apt, they should love the stairs.

@Dutchley I have a similar one and Bitzy likes to crawl up on top of it when she's anxious to get out of the cage. Rolls around upside down like "C'MON already!"
