I have heard that on the driver you want to have your left shoulder lower than normal. does this make you hit more from the inside or is it that you want the shoulder lower than other shots but to not tilt the head?

For a right handed player, a lower right shoulder (not left) allows for a more in-to-out swing path which can be a good thing for a driver. I hope that helps.
