  • Hi Andrew,

I am a fan of yours and I have commented on your videos in the past. I have a PSR S710 and I am having trouble understanding how to integrate a custom style I have made on the Style Creator in with the 16 track sequencer. I am able to record the performance of the style chords and switch the different variations around but....!! I cant seem to add any other tracks to the "style performance" on tracks 1 - 8. What am I doing wrong???

  • @douken86 If you are using the Quick Record function (when you just hit record and all the tracks are armed), I think the style takes up most (if not all) the sequencer tracks. Try recording on tracks 16, 15, or somewhere up there, and if that doesn't work...you might have to turn the MIDI file into a WAV file and free up all the sequencer tracks. Best of luck!

  • I have a Tyros3/4 , I have been playing / recording with many kinds of keyboards for over 30 years . And found the Yamaha Multitrack rec a bit confusing not to straight forward.. Then I found your Video here , You made my day!! thank you, even though its not for Tyros it still is same type of functions.. And I was able to make my first Multitrack recording..Following your video.. My Regards , TotallyKenny

  • @Totally007 I am glad to hear that! Hope it all works out for you. :)

  • hey..after u record right 1 for track one....can u record 'left' or right2 on top of that on the same track again? its pretty confusing...suppose u make a mistake while recording...u hav to delete the whole track?

  • @XLR8yog I don't think you can record over and keep both tracks. You can definitely edit parts of the track using "song creator" - I have another video on how to do that. Good luck!

  • Thank you

    Thatd just awesome ;)

  • @WinterDJ40 exactly what i was thinking of :)

  • 0:50 - 1:30 Sounds alot like Dude (I totally miss you) - Tenacious D! Otherwise, really good video!

  • @kaskalo2 On this keyboard, that's definitely possible...check out my video on how to use style creator. The PSR 423 is probably limited in recording, as it's an entry level keyboard...
