to be honest, I dont think this is cruel. One bite and there dead. Its instant. whats cruel is when they half cook a fish in japan and its just lying there for half an hour while still alive, gasping for air while a few people pick at it bit by bit until all that is left is a live head nd bones. Another one is eating live squid where you take 2 minutes to chew it into little pieces and swallow it

Wow, to say that this is animal cruelty... This dish is called drunken shrimp, where the shrimps are drunk so that they can be eaten with less resistance. If you think this is more cruel than than slaughterhouses, you are dead wrong. In fact, most people won't have a problem if it wasn't a human eating the shrimp, even if the shrimp isn't drunk. Fools.
