What a surprise found some George Moody tracks on “The Best of Country” and “Line Dance Session” I then searched Google and was led to U Tube and some superb clips of George playing with the Country Squires and one in particular I liked Bunch of Thyme, First saw George at the Century Cinema Pitsea Essex between films, he played and sung on his own and the audience loved him! it was not a venue that took prisoners and many an artist did not fare so well.
george was the main man.i had the joy of playing bass for him,on several gigs, ihad my own bands.i loved talking to him.he was a great support, god bless. mick hawes.
@legenadary i didnt know you dad had gone .. we used to sit with him when he was in essex in the 70s , he was a great man and im so sad at the news of his passing , god bless him xx
5 years today since you slipped away from us, but not a day goes by without thinking about you, or a week without your music in the house. We love you and miss you always Dadxxx
My darling, you were right what you said "one day they'll wish they were still Moody's" and look, suddenly they are, but we know dont we? i loved you then and I love you still always x
