Dang. It seems like the skater that stayed the most consistent was Reynolds. A lot of the skaters in this vid who were great back then, are now...taking it easy or disappeared. Reynolds just keeps getting better and better.

I remember that contest. Reynolds and Creager killed it that day. I thought Creager was a wizard after seeing some of the shit he pulled off
Look how much cooler skating was

so true... so god-damn true!
cuz, that shit was amazing to see then & (most) sk8rs jus don't have that, holy shit factor anymore!
cuz when ronnie creager switch hardflip to late flipping the pyramid!
that shit was one of those oh my gawd sk8 moments!
did you see that shit, & if not we'd see it at the beginning (in slo-mo) of the new 411 video-mag.
but now- muthafuckers are like, yeah I did that shit in a line, blindfolded + Creager was wack too cuz he didn't do rails in his parts.

@dj6cents
my point below is... sk8ing back then, was soo much more appreciated than now.
we'd get our heads blown off if we saw Malto, Mike Mo, Shane O'neil etc...
cuz they do shit w/out trying, (1st try)... that sk8ers would get the cover of a mag for back then.
It's just now, people expect it, but- back then... it was a treat!
