Wind Waker Any% Speed Run Segment 02

I still didn't get the quick parry attack to work, but it's a 2 second improvement. So I'll keep this one and improve it when the run is done. I will only do things like that to segments that are early in the run though.

Really impressive! How do you do the slashes and thrusts fast like that?

Do the first 2 hits in every cycle normally, then immidietly after that, hold L and the control stick backwards for the last 2 hits. For the next 4 hits, repeat the same thing. If you continue holding L and the control stick backwards for the next 4, he's knock you down.
