  • And I am sorry to see that talk of helping one group always has to escalate into a "who is more oppressed" competition. Or victim-bashing. Any youtube vid that advocates for women automatically brings the demands of "well what about us? MAN-HATERS!" from the males. Tip: If you want help and compassion, try giving some.

  • Well said. I think the harsh reactions that men who support women often get reflects real hurt and pain on the part of many men. Men who support feminism can, sadly, sometimes be seen as traitors. So we gotta just keep reaching out to these bothers and hope we can in time join hands.

  • Masculinity is indeed far more complex and diverse than that represented by the minority who use violence abusively. Men are loving, nurturing, thoughtful and forgiving. But the abusers get the press. So it is all men's responsibility to show the world, and ourselves, a more diverse face of masculinity.

  • Research, and common sense, show that most of the violence in the world is perpetrated by men. A sad fact I wish was not true, but we know it is. When men are abused, beaten, raped or killed it is usually by men, just as it is men who perpetrate most violence against women. As men who care about other men, and about women, our task is to help our bothers move away from violence and towards a larger sense of themselves, and masculinity, which incorporates non-violent problem solving solutions.

  • @VioletTwylite

Feminists who seek to discriminate against them at every opportunity. Who is really not listening to whom here?

  • How to stop emo fags from turning into chicks and infecting other men: Manhood101 . com

  • so sexi girl looking for a sexi guy Or girl hihi

  • I am not affrade of feminists because they may take away my rights, I hate the fact that they hate me because I carry the y-chromosone. They don't want to be hated but it's ok for them to hate men. They want equality but not for men. They demonize men's rights groups. Is that right to you?

  • great show...i'm a member of MVP at Taunton High..Check out my video against domestic violence!

  • It's really refreshing to have something on here that is positive about masculinity, without resorting to tired cliches or bashing anyone. I'm proud to be a man and it means a lot of different things for me.

  • Oh, I see: men are bad and all women are victims and penis is bad! I will chancge my ways and will become a fem man and spend my life trying to make moman feel better about themselves. God forbid a woman hears a bad joke! Sexual violence happens to boys like me all the time and I'm sick of hearing women complain about things that happen to more boys than girls.

  • Good show. I like your discussion, it's appropriate, not putting the blame on either of the sexes. It's true, if men are only seen as the perpetrators, they get defensife and the important matter itself gets all gone in the genderwar-aspect "you men this, you women that"-nonsence.

  • It's not a question of helping one group, and I thought it was victims of violence that we were trying to help, not women.

White people are victims of crime (as are black), would you support a vid that only wanted to help white victims of crime?

You can't play the high moral ground card.

  • Good advice.

Do you want help and compassion?
