Rieger Escort RS Turbo - First time fireup!

Testing the brandnew engine. On the first try there was not enough oil pressure. But then it worked. Up to 300hp (950kg) with manual Boostcontrol, Extra Fuel Injection, 1 - 1,8 bar Pressure, smaller combustion chamber and more.

if you knew more about this engine and its tricks you would know that there is much more to get out. the engines dont last too long but it works.

how much will you get with onley instaling a larger intercooler on stock??and i would like to get 170hps from mfi but dont know how....can you help me??

pump it up to 0,8 bar and you are good. there is a little trick with changing the hoses but better go to a tuner if you dont know about engines.

@100imachristian rare rier bodykit that mate. i agree for the most part, im funny about seeing 205's with different alloys but i think reiger for the escort and dimma for pug are exception to the rule. looks a bit rad but its a period look and new they cost around 8k inc wheels!!!

You obviously dont know much about CVH engines then, as you can indeed get up to 300BHP on an escort mfi set up. It requires much more work [and more boost compared to if you were running a T3 on an EFI fiesta engine] but it's more than possible - for the right price. To be honest, it'd still cost ALOT to do it on EFI [and yes i have got one

Yea 300 hp can be achieved from mfi with modifictions to the fuel system metering head and fitting extra injectors

we use to get 1 grand for a nicked one of these back in the early 90's....
