if you think that was a blindside hit then you don't know hockey. dude was skating with his head down, and keith set up mayers to get rocked. It's also not questionable whether it was charging or not, because he didn't leave both his feet. Did you know the NHL rescinded desjardin's game misconduct? Even they know it was a terrible call. After the game the refs told McLellan it was a bad call.

That was a clean hit, he didn't leave his feet and he wasn't aiming for his head. WTF Ref??

it's the fact that he completely left his position to instigate a fight. The hit was clean, and there's 100% no doubt about it. It wasn't a charge, wasn't a blindside hit, and wasn't anything else illegal. There is no reason Keith has to intentionally leave his position to go fight Desjardins in that particular play. Keith took exception and interrupted play in order to instigate the fight. The right call should've been 2 5 and 10 for keith and 5 to Desjardins, but it wasn't (oh well).

It did impact the head, you just referenced guys that had players suspended for calls that were later deemed diving by the other player and it didn't make an impact on the game because had the intent to injure not occured the fight wouldn't have occured and the the penalties to Keith would have never happened. Thus it would have been 5 on 5, Maybe the sharks should learn better defense. Come on the Hawks got screwed by Calgary a week before this and Vancouver last night they found ways to win
