This is my submission to the Colbert Report's Edit Challenge. I wanted to make an interview that looks very realistic and authentic, which means I did not take as many liberties as some others have with the creation of sentences made from individual words.

This submission is clean and certainly believable as a real television interview. I have seen some other versions that are very creative out there already, to which I salute you all. I originally edited and submitted this version the day after the original segment aired on the Colbert Report, but didn't want to post it to YouTube until others had had a fair chance to make their own version without benefit of basing it off others. So I think enough time has passed that it is safe to post mine.

The Assignment here was to re-edit an interview turning Stephen's answers 180 degrees from his original responses and I think this edit does that very well. It is clean, and professional and has the look of a real interview, which was what I wanted to make. There certainly are funnier and more creative entries out there, to which I tip my hat to.

I had lots of practice cleaning up both Clinton's & GW's interviews when I worked in network news... this interview was a lot more fun. ;^)
