Final Fantasy IV DS Rare Items

Some of you may have noticed that I make FF4 references in a lot of my movies.

There's a reason for this. I love FF4 more than any of the old school FF games. When I think about, it's the game that REALLY got me into the FF series. It's a long story. I'll explain it to you someday. Just know that Super Mario RPG has something to do with it.

The remake is awesome. The only flaw with this game is the rare drop ratio. It's a real pain in the ass. It took me 4 weeks of nonstop playing to collect all of this shit. I even collected some of these items while I was at work.

The only 2 rare items that I left out are the Rune Axe and the Glass Mask. The Axe is totally useless, and the Glass Mask..well, I've been trying for 3 days, and I'm
tired. I wanted to get this guide done.

Wow, I believe this video has answered everything i wanted to know.

If I could suggest one thing, it would be if you put level requirements :D Other than that, amazing job man. I got into FF4 really late, but it's definitely my favorite.

i was trying to get the yellow tail and got my levels into early sixtys for every body exept cecil. he is lvl 72 this vid was cool by the way

ahahahaha. Mindflayer took me 20 minutes, (only 6 fights without treasure hunter), artemis bow took 30 minutes, and I find deathmasks to be the easiest enemy ion the subterrane because on the first turn, have rosa dualcast dispel, then slow, and have rydia cast stop, and BAM! easy victory.

All enemies on the moon surface have 100% chance for death to work if you use Odin, when you run into flood worms or 4 black flans and 2 dark grenades or lunar viruses etc, use odin for instant victory, 0% chance for it to not work from what I've seen, unless you think you can kill faster with normal attacks but either way its 1 turn battle. also I cant make money to afford upkeep on stardust/sirens to get 5 pink tails its getting ridiculous, is proto-babil/geryon any good gil? how get good gil?

Blah now I feel stupid for messing up my augments in my last game.. if I only knew how rare that rainbow pudding was then maybe I'd be happy that I got it on my first kill D:

From my experience, putting Cecil in the back row when farming for Pink Tails is actually better than having him in the front row. He takes less damage, since he's in the back row, and the damage he deals from using Stardust is unaffected by this.
