Initially when Obama was asked about the NDAA he tried to brush it off, and said that the senate sponsors, Levin (Dem-MI) and Graham (Republican-SC) insisted that the "detention of US citizens provision" remain in the bill - or they wouldn't support it. A very furious Sen Levin immediately declared that he and Graham were told by Obama that they HAD BETTER support the bill as it was. This is all public record folks - the bill passed by 93-7 votes. No doubt Levin "paid" for speaking out.

mr gordon, thank you. i live in RI and had lost much hope, ndaa is something people want to ignore, it bothers me that anyone could support this and im so glad it was shot down. as a fellow man from RI im saying thank you, run for president, u have my vote, we need more like you.

Washington State what are you waiting for? Let's follow suit and protect our people! All states must adopt this action if we want to continue to have a constitution, and freedoms we have enjoyed.

Virginia recently nullified NDAA inside state borders. Hopefully other states will follow the lead of VA and of Mr. Gordon. There will be an outcry from family members once the federal government (the US military) starts kidnapping Americans and holding them without charges or trials.
