@coptersoisoi I think it's funny that the song Pretty in Pink is about a girl that is easy and they used it for a movie about a girl who really isn't. That song depresses the heck out of me.

I never liked the whole John Hughes' vision of 80s though the films are comical.. These guys were far more dark than "Pretty in Pink" white guys have emo issues. Great song. It makes me laugh that 20 year olld today sing "Pretty in pink" or make some lame silly 80s film reference, when many people saw this music in an entirely different way of what Hollywood's cookie cutter imagery would portray. If I filmed Pretty in Pink there would have been a hell of a lot more fights and blood.
