To me, the Music and Video are just right. Sick talent. I think I was 12 when this came out? Still watch it? Why? Will I listen to his version of "True Faith?" Absolutely not.

Probably having a bit of mystique as to what "Monkey" means attracts people a bit. Maybe he's singing about himself? I probably like this the most off the "Faith" album. Don't know why.

@semkobenko the monkey has no name, it's short for 'monkey on your back' as in unresolved personal issues or emotional burdens such as drug addiction or lingering feeling towards an ex lover all of which inevitably get in the way of a person getting on with his or her life
