  • I miss old Oh, Sleeper.

  • @kmorgan513

Non-christians who regularly drink, may not become christians because religion says that drinking is wrong and they don't want to give it up. In some churches their religion says that women have to wear dresses all of the time. Who would want to convert to that? That's why God hates religion. I'm not completely sure if I covered your question to @theonewhoheldtrue or not, but if I didn't you can ask it differently if you want :)

  • @kmorgan513

religion doesn't ncessarily have anything to do with the jews. God hates what religion has BECOME. There are lots of things that religion has stated that aren't of God. An example of that would be that religion often states that drinking alcoholic beverages is a sin, whereas God (through the bible) has never aid that it's wrong, and has even stated that it's ok sometimes. So, religion has become a stumbling block.

I'm not here to argue, so 'cheers!'

  • @TheOneWhoHeldTrue if God hates religion why are jews his chosen people

  • @ChristianMetal55 I am a kind and selfless person, but I am also aware enough to know that ignorance is the only certainty contained within our bodily vessels. We are restricted for a reason: We are not yet supposed to know answers to the "big questions". Therefore, I accept that I do not and will not know for now, and I do not believe I will be punished for it. You should read Plato's "The Republic". This fellow has found the closest answers we can possibly have right now. Cheers.

  • @ChristianMetal55 If there is a God, or many (which is also plausible), it would understand that a species created in its likeness would be complex and powerful enough to question. Not only should questioning and doubts be accepted, but I believe they would be respected, for this shows that our knowledge and free will has progressed significantly. Either way, I know that if I do the right things, it doesn't matter what I believe in, because I am a prime example of what humans should be.

  • @ChristianMetal55 You're certainly a logical person. First, however, I never said God wasn't real, nor have I denied anything about heaven or hell. The Bible has many rights as well as wrongs. I'm not going to pick out and analyze each story, because it is pointless. Christianity is plausible, but so are countless other religious claims. For someone to claim that their answer is the MOST plausible is, in fact, ignorant, for without certainty there are only claims.

  • @rb12321

This isn't a challenge, I'm just answering your questions:

The reason that he has to test us is because he gave us a free will. With a free will a lot of people need to be tested. Believe me, we christians aren't perfect, and without tests we're not as faithful.

Now then, the bible has actually been quite accurate according to physics. The book 'the creator and the cosmos' is all about this. The bible has stated facts that were not possible to prove until now. You should read the book.

  • @rb12321

Several questions: If God isn't real then whose puppets are we supposed to be? If we're just ignorant children with futile and pointless arguments, then why are we important for you to 'progress'? Isn't it more ignorant to deny the possibility that there's an afterlife that will be terrible if you're wrong about there being no God than to believe in the possibility and go with the most plausible answer -- Christianity. This is what their song 'shed your soul' is about. God bless.
