When I bought this lp back in the seventies I was introduced to the world of synthesizers and Tomita. It immediately became one of my all-time favorite recordings.

Back in the 70ies, it have been Jarre and Tomita who made me admire synth music. Keeping in mind that this has been produced on non-programmable, huge modular Moogs (there have been ages before DAWs ;-) ), you can be nothing but stunned.
Still, I like the original orchestral piece (not the suite, but the full ballett music) as well ...

@lifeseeker1, more importantly, he originally recorded this in 1975, before the advent of digital synths, much less sampling. This was when sounds were literally programmed. Not sure what synths he was using, though most like Moogs or Arps, as they were prevalent in the mid 70's.
