  • Never knew she did Alcina...

Was it a full opera, or just in concert?

    Amazingly.....wooooow.

Pitty she did not sing more baroque...beautiful!

  • Full opera, I have it :-)

  • perfect!!! I beleive she has one of the clearest - purest soprano voices ever. She s blessed for sure.

  • Unbarocker geht es wohl kaum, aber es ist trotzdem sooo schön! Cristina Deutekom ist einfach unglaublich!

  • @DesAbends s How do I get it? Is it available on cd? Her stuff is so hard to find (used to be almost impossible around here - SoCalif ) She was my perfect soprano the many times she appeared in San Diego!

  • @dulcissimusverus ja , unglaublich

  • Can you upload more of Alcina's arias? I mean, it's a rarely to hear C.Deutekom singing baroque!!! Thank you very much for this post! :o)

  • a pure angel....wow....

  • Christina Deutekom ist faszinierend! She is a true artist

with exquisite Technique and a unique timbre.

    Brava Stinje!

  • It is beautiful!

Her instrument seemed possible to sing everything.

Her Dutch song..."Ik hou van Holland" was even as amazing!

And the highest notes, sparkling always.

  • It was a concert performance of the complete opera (New York '74) with Lucia Valentini-Terrani as Bradamante.

  • Das Bild ist vom Zuschauerraum des ehemaligen Deutschen Theaters. Ob dort Tschechen ihre "National"Oper untergebracht haben, ist mir unbekannt. Das Theater ist aber nicht mehr deutsch.
