@coolbonzo12345 Lucky I won a free give away card..considering I rarely use P. transport. All paper tickets are scrapped by the end of this year anyway
-
@TCFan25 Thats why I always keep a few dollars on me if I have forgotten my go card :)
-
@SweepSooSooty cont.
I admit some companies offer good deals on contracts to entice, but I don't feel raising paper ticket prices to push us onto contracts is right. We haven't been enticed, but manipulated cynically by bussiness and politicians; this is annoying in my book.
-
It's frustrating because I'm being compelled to enter into a contract requiring me to purchase future travel I may not require in the near future. Haven't you noticed the encroachment of ever more lengthy contractual arrangements with business so many rely on? It's bad enough I have to sign on, with exit fees attached, to particular gas, electricity, phone and Internet companies, now I need a contract to pay the price I used to pay for the bus?
-
How is it frustrating? just go and get one.. then it's done. You'll be laughing.
-
Yeah I know. I'm left with little choice if I want to minmise public transport costs. Still, its bloody frustrating XD *sigh

it was witty! christ this isnt new technology.. i still carry my singapore go card (called ezlink over there). It's just a fare card!!! Anna is not going to take over the universe
can you leave it in the wallet and will it still work?

Generally yes.
However you are better off if you open your wallet, while still leaving the card in its spot in your wallet and then scan the part of your wallet where the GoCard is located.
