Glad to hear you again, Peter. Don't give up the ship, so to speak...you know what you speak and though I am aware that inferring a historical reference is essentially non sequitur: "Those who have the privilege to know, have the duty to act." - Albert Einstein.

If you ask me, I'd say asteroid mining (and access to other extraterrestrial resources) is the ultimate abundance-producing method.

I'm considering the positive implications of casting a blank ballot in the US presidential election. This could be an empowering form of protest if carried out on a large scale. such an act would demonstrate the widespread discontent of our current sociopolitical paradigm, furthering our growing awareness the same way the OWS movement has.

I'm interested in tzm's opinion, and hopeful you will endorse it on one of your radio addresses

leave the ballot blank or write in none the above

What do you mean? I think if we brought the real America back it would last a little while giving this movement to work its magic.

I think a good way to transition to a money-less (and less egoic) system is to begin to spread the idea of timebanking. It really is a more fair, less corruptible way to exchange goods and services. Look it up.

The core problem is one of ego. On an individual scale and on a system level we are, for the most part, self centered. The market system is completely egotistical as it places individual ownership and power above any collective benefit. It creates a fear based predator vs prey atmosphere. On a smaller scale our individual egos work to defend an identity conditioned by beliefs. And deeper still, I think our beliefs create reality. Not just our perspectives on reality. But all that exists as real.
