Bernard Gersten of Lincoln Center and author Kenneth Turan join him on Theater Talk to discuss Papp and his remarkable career. This show premieres on CUNY TV, Saturday, December 26th at 8:30 PM.

  • i always THOUGHT joe papp was jewish... i never thought if him as anything else...

    plus, i have to confess, i had a little crush on him when i was a very young teenager -- he was sooo handsome and sooo commanding, when he produced the shakespeare in the park series, the productions of which were AMAZING!

    joe papp was an amazing man...
