Ok a possible $10Mill for fx, model creators, all the writers, staff, caterers,programmers who spent months trying to create this shot, costume designers, light people, builders, and camera folks, not to mention salary of the star and however many different takes it took, plus angles, but mainly to the computer CGI companies that worked on it. When you do special fx and cgi you name your own price if your the top of the food chain in the field. Still the movie did in fact suck donkey nuts!

@ty88rv99 OMG! You are dumb as hell. Superman gets his powers from earth's sun. 'Superman' is just a regular human when far away from earth's sun....imagine if YOU were writing a Superman story, you would defile the legacy more than any writer ever has.

No, the time calculation is done with Earth years and not Kryptonian. This you can tell from the speech that makes Marlon Brando in the first film. In fact, even the planet became extinct thousands of years, Superman comes to earth and is still a child and not an elder. So, a few years for us to land, but for centuries Kryptonian

Superman has no powers, when they leave our solar system and hence must use a space ship. The yellow sun of our solar system, from him super powers.

The spacecraft takes about 5 Earth years to complete the round but, if calculated in years Kryptonian spoken of centuries.

Dragging on for freakin' 5 minutes like that...I can see why it was cut. Plus, that weak "giant S" was just dumb.

And why exactly was this supposedly $10 million?????

And was he naked or wearing a suit? in some shots, it looked like a suit with the S on his chest. In others, he looked naked.

It took thousands of years for the original space probe to reach earth. I'm assuming he made a better, faster ship that can reach Krypton's remains in only 2 years.
