It's been one year since the devastating earthquake in Haiti...thousands of people have volunteered, millions of dollars have been donated, billions of prayers have been said, but sadly...Haiti is still in a world of despair.
In the last year, not only have Haitians had to deal with the destruction of the earthquake, but Haitians have also suffered a cholera epidemic that ravaged the country, and a failed presidential election that resulted in riots. This is on top of the already heartbreaking state the country was in before all of this.
The voices you hear are of my mother, Miriame, and my cousin, Amelie.
I own none of the pictures in this slideshow; I found them on various news and charity websites.

The first Cry for Haiti video can be found as a response to this one. It's on Facebook as well: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10100318532944241
This was beautiful. 1 year later and theres still no change in the country. Like your mother said, Haitians need to change their hearts before they can change the country. I look forward to the day that happens. God bless Haiti

This is something that everyone needs to see. Without hearts that desire to show everyone's need for the light of God world wide, we have ceased to do the job called forth by us...Haiti in my prayers now and always, it is the land of my Grandfather (Huerbert "Famous" Morrisette) and his people and my people...May God continue to protect and preserve this beautiful land.
