He was also running a little late when he "dropped off his guitar" and it had just started to rain. He was trying to get in out of the rain and do an interview.
Chris is a great guy. He likes to consider fans as friends. I'm positive it wasnt a rude thing or him just not wanting to say anything. He went out of his way to walk right into the audience at the end of the GMA Finals to take pictures and meet a mob of fans.
Take heart....he'd chit chat with you if he wasnt rushed. :)

I know Chris "fairly" well (he's SUPER cool) and I think I can say that if he didn't answer you, he most likely didn't hear you. OR he'd had a crappy day and didn't want to be personable right then (he's human too). It's always best to cut others some grace as we'd have others cut for us! I'm sure you understand... I'm just sayin!
