The Tall Dwarfs hail from New Zealand and consist of Chris Knox and Alec Bathgate.
This is a live performance of 'We Bleed Love' and 'Woman' on SBS's music show 'Noise' in 1991.
They are masters of low tech music recording on a 4 track tape recorder in their homes, often utilizing whatever comes to hand as an instrument. They also create all their own CD artwork and make their own videos.

Thankyou thankyou thankyou for posting htis video. I remember clearly watching noise on SBS and seeing this; sparking my love affair with the tall dwarfs and chris knox. By far the best songwriter around.

Its a pity that SBS2 on digital wasn't more like ABC2. Then they could screen repeats of Noise, Rock Around the World and Beat Club.
