@zeonXL Agree. This movie is genius. I wonder what movies nowadays can compare to this one?

I couldn't give a shit about all the themes and violence and whatever. I absolutely just love the performances, the music, the directing, the cinematography, the sets, the costumes. It's absolutely mesmerizing.

The book: In the final chapter, Alex has a new trio of droogs, but he is beginning to outgrow his taste for violence. A chance encounter with his old droog Pete, now married and settled down, inspires Alex to seek a wife and family of his own. He contemplates the likelihood that any son of his will also be violent, a prospect Alex views fatalistically.

It's a discussion of free will versus conditioning. We're doing the stage version at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre right now, and that's how we're approaching it.

@TheSuperGerben beethoven symphony number 9, along with many other classics are what what drives his passion for sex and violence
-
@kyhzer Be that sex and violence is a MAJOR part of his brain it's not all. Please do not forget the Beethoven, Symphony Number 9, which is a major idea for this character. :)
-
@zeonXL alex's mind is all about sex and violence though...

@PhoenixM713 Why?

you need to look past the sex and violence and understand the concept of this film, it's fuckin genious in my opinion

the whole point of it is that forcing someone to do good doesn't make that person or their actions good but turns them into a machine and robs them of their right to choose which is what makes them human
