  • "Believe it or not . . . this is by an American artist." No way, an American?

    What an ass.

  • Am I missing something here??? They think it's great because it looks like a photo??? WELL, lets all forget everything and just sit and copy a photograph then.............

Yet again, all show and no depth America!!!

New but extremely shallow cultured people, on the whole.........!

  • "Anyone with a good eye and a steady hand could paint this.... It is shallow." for a ffirst, the image as a whole is beautiful. If it was a photograph , it would have an impact regardless because of it's size, and hiw beautifully it is composed. Walking up close and realizing that it is a painting expresses so much more, and to not appreciate both the patience and the talent it is needed to transfer a photograph to the medium of painting, that my friend is shallow. I can appreciate abstract but

  • @DMarie0824 Anyone who has a good eye and a steady hand can do it - that's the whole point! Only Americans could think that sitting down and copying a photo exactly is art - I mean really, what's the point? What's the message? What's the thought path? What is inspirational about it? The fact that someone can copy something very well??? SHALLOW! And my grandfather was an artist, my father is an artist/sculptor and so am I so yes, if I wanted to numb myself from every emotion, I could paint this!

  • @jellytoooth There's nothing wrong in what I wrote - you just misunderstood it. Read it again. I never claimed all American Art is shallow - I said extremely shallow cultured people, on the whole, which is a fact. No argument to find in that I'm afraid.

  • @jellytoooth He said the same thing on another video about Alyssa Monks. It's pathetic. I wonder if he could paint like that... probably not.

  • @Mi6Bagpuss Extremely shallow culture? I'd say you are the uncultured one. You obviously don't know enough about art history to claim American art is all shallow. Maybe you should go read a little bit about it before jumping to silly conclusions that only expose your own ignorance.

  • what is your name? seriously

  • I like how when it shows the lady I immediately could tell she wasn't the artist.

  • this is why i love american art its completly photorealistic which im in love with lol

  • great work! excellent
