As a violin player....I think it fair to say it is the style of playing they both devloped....!....surely it is all about preferences.....

Eh, debating whether I like Anne-Sophie Mutter's more aggressive style here. Joshua is a smooth player and when it comes to some pieces I prefer Mutter's playing and with others I prefer Joshua. Odd! Wonder if the violin has anything to do with it.
