  • They were not a communist band.

  • They weren't communists, they used the name "The Stalin" because it was provocative in Japan. I believed they denounced all politics after the singer witnessed a lot of his friends killed by police at a university protest/riot in the 60s.

  • The Michiro Endo, the vocalist, is a Socialist. The band name, the Stalin, was more for provocative effect. Stalin was/is a communist.
