Anuradha in her childhood was Zakir's Gurubehn... she was learning from ustad Alla Rakha Sahib in Bomaby... Later she also learnt from Zakir.. She had great teachers and a great deal of Riyaz. Musicians like Zakir, Anuradha , Rakesh Chaurasia, Purbayan Chatterjee, Niladri Kumar, Dilshad Khan ( all of the new generation ) bring great credit and pride to Indian classical music.
