Easy way to make plastic from Milk and vinegar. Pretty amazing. This creates a long molecule called Casein which is just like typical plastic. You can mold it,sculpt it sand it. I make a pair of dice in this tutorial. More on how to do this on my website here: http://www.stormthecastle.com/how-to-make-a/how-to-make-plastic.htm

  • why can't you eat it its only mike and vinegar

  • @newwindboy Once it hardens it is like a rock.

  • You know what you could do, for dice...You could punch BB's through the sides of the cardboard to give the dice their dimples on the different sides. Then take a light sanding to them to soften the rough edges.

  • @NeverWorthWatching This is a great idea. creative thinking. Thanks!

  • can you eat it?

  • GUESS WHAT? You have just made CHEESE! Plastic? In milk? NOT!. You made a substance called CASEIN. In other words "cheese", at least one of the worlds most common, oldest cheeses. CasEin occurs when the protien in the milk meets the acid in the vinegar. The casein in milk does not mix with the acid and so it forms blobs. True plastics, called poymers, are a little different. If you want to make a true plastic and learn more about polymers. Still a cool project for Kindergarten.
