This one is an attempt to play something on 2 keyboards which sounds orchestral. I've used the same piano arrangement as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICUnZZ61hZw - the lower keyboard is split between celesta and pizzicato strings, the upper keyboard is split between clarinets and violas. These are midi keyboards which make a noisy clatter so I've captured the audio and used it to replace the music picked up with the camcorder microphone. The sheet music is on www.mfiles.co.uk though here it is printed in landscape format so that there is room to see it.

I'm sure it can be done better than this, so feel free to respond with your own attempts.

  • @MrDrBulla Now I know the reason for the error - youtube doesn't like URLs in comments, even if they are youtube URLs!

  • @MrDrBulla See response on piano version - ICUnZZ61hZw (same sheet music) - youtube was giving me strange errors when I tried to reply here - maybe the post was too long, so I'm trying again!

  • @jimatmfiles Haha i'm ridiculously motivated to learn how to read music, but i'm 50 x more ridiculously busy with university to do it. Search for ben folds - the luckiest piano tutorial on youtube and that was perfect. Exactly like that would be AWESOME!!! I will happily respond with a video reply to show you how good your teaching is haha :D

  • @MrDrBulla Not sure what you mean by a tutorial - play it slow, separate hands, with a close-up on the fingers? Maybe you just need motivation to learn to read music. It's not that difficult really and the good thing is that you learn any tune without a tutorial.

  • @jimatmfiles I would but I can't read music :) If you can just make a video showing the notes for the left and right hand I could learn it piece of cake. Most people don't do tutorials which is kinda sh!t but of the ones that are on youtube i've picked up easily. It just comes down to whether or not you can be bothered doing it. If you need motivation, just know you'd be making someone out there (me + others) extremely happy and you'd be spreading the love of piano around :D Thanks Jim

  • @MrDrBulla You can download the sheet music free from mfiles

  • mad dorg. please to make a tutorial for a young keen aussie pianist? cheers big ears ;)
