  • @r2dxhate It's called an "honest indicator". It indicates the relative strength of the lizard for females to compare and assess with other potential lizard mates. You can sort of call it a mating call. It's natural selection at work.

  • lol that's not a mating call. i think you mean mating dance and that's not even a mating dance. some do it because the ground is hot. and some do it to intimidate other lizards.
