The things is that Damiens songs are so personal and he is willing to share it... his song tell the world about his life and commenting on peoples negative attitude towards theirs which is not easy to do when your one of the few....... unless of course you can understand that and takes inspiration from the songs!! :)

Is Sinead O Connor taking the piss? Saying that Damien Dempsey wipes the floor with Luke Kelly....is she deaf or what? Dempsey never did and never will sing as well as Luke Kelly. Luke was the greatest singer we may ever hear.
