i done this over 2 years ago. go to vixen forums to find the new mod! linked 2 ssr panels (2 mr christmas's) still using the old paralell port. 8 ports are hot but there are 4 more that vixen can utilize. making a 12 chanel controller and your own mp3s. search my videos i have one up that shows the box in action

I think the colors vary because in my box the red wire was ground

the black wire is the ground not the red wire.

Does this allow you to use your own music, or just change the light sequence.
I already expanded the wattage capabilities, will be adding an FM mod, and if I could put some real music on there, i would be happy for now, at least until I get into a bigger more customizable system.
