The Real-Flex 3D Camera Rig. The biggest problem today that Stereographers and 3D movie makers face, is the so-called "interaxial" limitations of 3D cameras.

It is not easy to "re-converge" 3D footage once shot with interaxial set wide on cameras. (currently one of the biggest reasons that 3D is shot with beam splitter rigs).

Real Vision has experience in Stereoscopic 3D content for over 10 years.
We now show you a secret that otherwise costs many thousands of dollars and STILL does not give good results all the time.

Systems such as Mistika and software such as NUKE with Ocula allow you to "change" interaxial. They do cost a lot of money.

We have been using a combination of the excellent plugin from Revision FX, called Re:Flex almost 6 years ago to create auto-stereoscopic content from 2 view footage.

Effectively creating "new virtual 3D cameras". This video now reveals that secret to the stereoscopic 3D community, and film makers at large.

It is not 100% perfect but very powerful and works for almost every kind of shot there, if shot with a parallel 3D camera rig.

Fine tweaking and extra adjustments will save almost any 3D shot!
This is NOT a simple H.I.T adjustment for re-converge.
(Original footage had slight hit already applied to a small extent, but not modified in any way by the Re:flex plugin)

This actually warps pixels to create a new "virtual camera" like view on the scene.
Revision FX themselves may not be aware, and sales of Re:flex are bound to shoot up :-)!!

Get that plugin for aftereffects while it's $600 now!
(we are not affliated or payed by any company for this free info).
