Elio e le Storie Tese: the greatest band ever for JT! Elio (choruses), Rocco Tanica (keyboards), Faso (bass guitar), Cesareo (guitar), Feiez (factotum!), Christian Meyer (drums)... + Naco (percussions) & Sally Taylor (his daughter)... Great show!

that first verse is so great. Nixon-- a guy who James Taylor probably wouldn't want to say anything good about. But for this one moment, he sympathizes and makes him a regular guy. "Nobody knows me, nobody understands. These little people were good to me."
-
"Make today today" - that's genius. The man hasn't aged a bit since his glory days.
-
So what? Love his voice!
-
That "line em up" refrain goes on a bit.

looks like she's been eating corn in kansas.

Di questo mini-concerto era quella che mi ricordavo meglio: bellissima!!

"Tiny tear in his shifty little eye".. (His so right about Nixon) What a song:)
This is ONE of my favorites songs..
But I think the best song ever written is belfast to Boston!
Solo gli Elii erano degni di poter suonare così egregiamente con una leggenda come JT...

To listen to James Taylor is to be in touch with one's "higher self"...period.
