I just got a binks 7 today new from my wives grandpa never used

its just a more modern version of the AID model 2, but made from alloy instead of brass. All parts are interchangable.

@mackadoo30 I don't know of you have got a spray gun yet, but I'll tell you what I know and you can make up your mind. I don't know much about sata, but my dad has Binks and Devilbiss spraying equipment that is over 40 yrs old and they still work great.

Yes it is! I used mine on a few cars and it performed very well. I do need to replace some seals so it should last me a lifetime.

lol i hear ya man. Mine still hangs up in the bodyshop. I'll never get rid of that thing. Binks # 7 should be in the paint gun hall fame (if there was such a thing)

I've got a Binks #7 I bought new in the '70s and it's still a great gun.
