The idea behind this is to move your hand as FAST as possible, as LATE as possible, traveling as FAR as possible. Sure, it's easy to catch a pen that's thrown in the air, but if you look in the slow motion, you'll notice that my hand doesn't move until the pen has already started falling.
The original idea was to throw the pen high from my left hand, with my right laying on the side of my body. It should look as if I had finished a combo and was just going to let the pen drop. Then use this move to catch the pen at the very last moment. As this was mainly shot to see if the camera would capture my hand movement, I didn't bother with the whole setup of the original idea.
Also, although speed is crucial, the way to achieve the speed was pretty important as well. In order to minimize travel distance and air resistance, I use a movement that resembles a whip. At the start of the movement, my wrist and fingers are completely loose. Then as it moves to the ending position, the hand is turned sideways to minimize air resistance. It's not until the last moment that the hand assumes the catching position.
Finally, note the distance the hand travels. It is at least one body or more. Since the original idea was to pretend the pen was going to drop, I wanted to catch the pen from as far as possible.
Anyways, I hope you like it.
huh? I see somthing like a second pen flyng after your Mod whats that?

@lakai2305 you might be looking at the shadow. I think I had like two lights when I filmed this, so it's probably a shadow. I only used one pen for this.

This trick only involves the motion right? we can use any other air tricks ta' release the pen but if we move fast enough will it still be considered a teleport catch?

i think it's more of a concept than a trick. I used a BakRiser for this, but you can use any air trick. I don't think a catch alone is officially considered a trick.

you cath it verry late is that the reason why its the lift? (nice!!! 5stars)

Yes, the late catch is intentional. It helps with the "teleport" effect.
