  • Good job Norm! Your axial leaded bends look perfect. Did you use a Speedy Bend lead former, the red plastic jigs?

    What temp do you solder SAC alloy at? Do you go 700F? If you guys are still using the Metcal MX 500 Talon then you are either locked in at 600 F or 700F.

  • I think he makes up for it in other areas. He's an MIT at BEST, INC. Norman is one of the very best Master Instructors in the country and his soldering is 110% all day long.

    True, it could have been better but you have to admit, he is sharing free game and he's trying to help people come up.

  • Do you have any videos on how to desolder these through hole components easily without that vacuum desolder machine that I have seen in another one of your videos?
