An informal playthrough of the solo part of the ending of the first movement (a repeated notes movement) of David Rakowski's Piano Concerto, in Marilyn's office (NYC traffic noise and jazz band rehearsal also evident in audio). N.B. the orchestra plays all during this excerpt (which explains the gaps). Rakowski's concerto was premiered by Marilyn with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Gil Rose, conductor, 11/2/07 and recorded on 11/5/07.

A CD with the piano concerto and two other pieces by Rakowski is available from BMOP/Sound, catalog #1009. This excerpt begins at 8:25 on track 3 of the CD.
