Frederick Buechner, 1954 FTE Fellow, and one of America's foremost writers and theologians sits down to discuss vocation in the life of a young person considering ministry.
Produced in 2002 for The Fund for Theological Education
...the endless chatter of human thought. I suspect that there is nothing more crucial to true spiritual comfort . . . than being able from time to time to stop that chatter -- Buechner quote, he's brilliant
What a great setting to show (countryside)! Frederick Buechner's honesty is one of his greatest qualities as a writer; I have appreciated him for years. Vocation seems to be a life-long search for some of us.

The pastorate is a calling, not a vocation/profession. I would encourage any young person, that if they're not called, to choose something else.
