Right now as i type there is very strong gale force winds bearing down on my area, and the sound of it is frightening enough; but its nothing compared to power of this hurricane, i cannot imagine what those caught up in it are going thru, both as the storm hits and just waiting for it to arrive. I hope everyone in jamaica and the rest of the carribean, and now mexico is ok and as prepared as they can be for the now cat 5 Dean. And also of course the ones in the typhoon battering China.

It's now a Cat 5 and may intensify a bit more since its at 160. Remember, Katrina was as high as 175. Mexico is going to get slammed very bad.

ezshores, mentholkind, leon and appli3d is that all u can think about??? My friend is in Kingston, Jamaica atm, and I'm really worried about her. People have died in this hurricane and those comments are insensitive and disrespectful. Good luck to everyone riding out the hurricane.
