The swastika is actually a religious symbol commom to hinduism,buddhism and jainism...if u come to india u'll see the symbol everywhere..it signifies prosperity and luck, but it was 'hijacked' by the nazis and is now unfortunately a symbol of hate...

Yeah it is. You see, the swastika is a religious symbol in Indonesia, including Buddhism. There's a lot more info on it at Wikipedia. Just, type in "swastika" in the search and you'll see what the symbol was meant to represent, the religions that used it and how it was eventually used by the Nazi party. In fact, in the movie "The Da Vinci Code, you see this visually in the slide show presentation by Robert Langdon at the start of the film.
