  • Let's all face it. Anti-gay sentiment IS what Jesus taught when he said, "hateth thy neighbor and hateth him that has done nothing to you." Furthermore, he also taught to only turn a cheek if you planned to fart putrescent legislation toward your brethren. Also, Jesus taught to treat others as you would not wish to be treated. I also, believe that he taught that you should not treat others equally. If I'm not mistaken I think he also said that women were property and blacks had no souls.

  • Gah! I don't care about the kardashian clothing line. I want to see thre progression of marriage rights!

  • its something they hold sacred. Other churches have done far far far worse as far as political agendas go over the time span of the world. im a practicing catholic but cmon, no buddy brings up our past. Christ is perfect and those who believe that he gives us eternal life can try to be but we never will. quite hating and just do what jesus would do.

  • @hanohanonacowboy 24 million?! where did that money come from?! damn mormon church.....

i just don't see what this has to do with them anyway....

  • Freedom to choose precisely why LDS church decided to defend natural marriage :P

  • Religious vomit

  • @hanohanonacowboy, So a phone bank and door to door knocking pulled the levers at the poll? LOL, a phone bank and some door to door knocking? Seriously.

LOL, you dont know very much about the brethren do you. LOL.

  • @FreeThinkingLDS Mormons paid about $24 million for the Prop 8 campaign and the Church itlself paid about $200,000 in tax-exempt Church funds. In addition, Mormons worked tirelessly for the Prop 8 effort on phone trees and door-to-door campaigning.

Either their money and efforts DID have an effect and you are wrong ... or there are an awful lot of Saints who are pretty stupid and careless with how they spend $24 million.

Neither of these possibilities is very flattering to your brethren.

  • Just so I am correct what role did the mormon church play in making gay marriage illegal in California, I always thought the voters of California did. Sorry if I am wrong.

Did they stuff ballots or close doors and not allow the 98% of non-mormons in the state vote?

I mean Coke runs trillion dollar ads and I still prefer Pepsi. So when faced with the two I choose Pepsi. (Disclaimer I drink neither but would choose Pepsi true.)

  • @DiscoRByrno your an idiot.. yes you have the right to speak your mind cunt bag they took away their right. that's against out constitution. thats all you religions freaks car about gay marriage and divorce and abortion. nothing else in the bible you follow including divorce and the sabbath.
